Week 3 Summary
I think both of these resources are good to use for information. I have been told by many instructors that Wikipedia is not a proper site to find information because anybody can put information on it. I think that Wikipedia is just fine to use but it has gaps in the information on some things. As the research on the computers brought me to. The GVRL document was clear about the history of the computers and included what make computers work. On the Wikipedia page, the part about transistors helping start the computers rise in productivity was not mentioned. I like the GVRL search engine a little better because there are multiple documents that you can look through instead of just one page on the subject on Wikipedia.

What I've Learned
One thing about is that plagiarism is every piece of information you use from somewhere else must be cited. I wouldn't say that I learned too much here because the whole plagiarism thing has been pounded in my head throughout high school and my first year of college. From here on out in my academic career I plan to do is state the source of my information used in any piece of homework or even notes because I may use the notes for homework later on.
Plagiarism Thoughts
1. This example is alright because this is just somebody saying what they did on a vacation. There is no information that needs to be cited.
2. This example is not alright because the writer does not state that the information found is from the Preamble.
3. This is plagiarism because the writer does not cite where he got the information that 57% of the students think their high school teachers assign too much homework.
4. This example does not cite that the information came from that certain speech of Martin Luther Kings which makes it plagiarism.
5. Not plagiarism because source is cited.
6. Not plagiarism because source is cited.
7. Not plagiarism because the writer states where it came from.
8. Plagiarism because the information's source is not cited.
